Do lightweight and comfortable summer pants tempt you for warm days? Are you not yet daring to start making pants?
We wanted to offer you the chance to make together the beautiful pants model called "Thai pants", evocative of holidays and sunsets... 😎
Original and technically affordable, Thai pants tie at the waist with straps and the legs breathe through the openings.

This course, open to beginners, will cover the basics of sewing and allow familiarization with the general characteristics of pants, like the famous crotch. More advanced sewers will have the opportunity to challenge themselves by working with more complex fabrics, like viscose.

We will learn together:

  • The basic operation of the sewing machine
  • to use a pattern
  • to match pattern and fabric for this project
  • to iron on interfacing
  • to sew your Thai pants
  • to make a "topstitch seam", a major essential of a beautiful project
  • to overlock fabric edges

The group is composed of a maximum of 6 students.

The course includes:
  • 2 X 2h30 of technical explanations, cutting, preparation of pattern pieces and sewing the project / intensive = 5h of courses in one session
