Sewing - My Twirling Skirt for Summer
Want to sew a twirling skirt for summer for yourself, your daughter, your granddaughter…?
I will teach you how to sew it and reproduce it endlessly.
During this 3-hour course session, you will learn:
- How to calculate fabric needs for a gathered elastic skirt
- How to cut the fabric properly
- Choosing the elastic
- Assembling the skirt and its elastic waistband
- The stitches needed to sew elastic neatly
- Tips and tricks for beautiful finishes
You will leave home with your finished skirt!
Course level: from beginner level (having already used a sewing machine) and more advanced depending on the fabrics used.
Prerequisites for this course: knowing how to use a sewing machine and that’s all! I explain the assembly technique step by step.
Duration: 3h
Included: elastic, small sewing supplies (scissors, ruler…), unlimited drinks
Feel free to come a few days before the workshop to choose your fabric and wash it to be ready for the workshop.
If you are sewing for someone else, it is necessary to know their waist measurement.
