This splendid cotton lawn from Dashwood Studio was designed by Helen Powlman.
Cotton lawn is a fabric made of 100% cotton with a plain weave, featuring a high thread count and tight weaving; this gives the fabric a silky appearance while being much easier to work with than real silk. It has the same texture and quality as what you will find with Liberty fabric.

Its original pattern of small spots scattered with stars on a black background will be perfect for making skirts, tops, blouses, romantic dresses, or why not a scarf?
The drape is superb. The feel is silky, soft, and pleasant against the skin. It is also the guarantee of sewing an original fabric, reserved for the initiated and not commonly found everywhere.
