Your 20 favorite PDF patterns in 2025: let's take stock

It has now been a few years since we started reselling PDF patterns and envelopes. We had several goals in this approach:

- offer patterns to our students and customers with quality brands, with the guarantee of buying a pattern you can use without worries

- distribute the patterns of designers who do great work and sometimes struggle to get known and maintain their independent activities (and yes, it's not easy to handle creation, communication, sales...) in a win-win approach.

- promote through our blog, our shop, and workshop a know-how, and artisans from around the world who deserve to be known (and sewn 😊).

Today, it's time to take stock because many of you at the workshop ask me: "Hey Eugénie...
- which pattern is the most successful?
- Which pattern do you sell the most?
- What is the favorite pattern of sewists?
- Which designer is the most successful?"

So, Gaetan and I had fun compiling your 20 favorite PDF patterns during the year 2025. This ranking is based on sales throughout the entire year 2025.

Are you ready to find out which one wins the favor of sewists worldwide through our platform and sewn around the world?

Let's go!

1. The Or Dare pouch by Sew La Jupe

The undisputed leading pattern is the Or Dare pouch! It can be used as a sewing kit, makeup bag, and it is super practical. It was designed to hold all the small tools useful for sewing, and its size should allow storing pairs of scissors up to 23 cm long. It has a multitude of storage options, adjustable according to your needs.

Finished pouch dimensions: 23 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm.

It makes me even happier to see this model’s success because Eowyn, the creator of the Sew la jupe brand, was my partner during my patternmaking training; so I’m delighted with her success!

Also, this pouch is very popular in the workshop and quite a few students have made it.

I also prepared mine but I’m struggling to find time to sew it 😅, maybe for an article in 2026?

Find all the Eowyn patterns from Sew la jupe here.

She also has great clothes: swimsuit, cardigan, sweatshirt...

2. The Julie blouse from Tosca Minni

After France, we head to Germany with the blouse pattern Julie from Tosca Minni!

Julie is your ticket to a sleeveless summer blouse, full of pretty details.

This airy garment is specially designed for fluid woven fabrics and offers comfortable access thanks to a long slit at the front. We really like the asymmetrical collar design.

Julie is also available from size 34 to 54.

Tosca Minni offers a wide range of sewing patterns for women and children and is really well known in Germany. One point to note for Tosca Minni: the ease is greater because these are German patterns; don’t hesitate to size down if you’re unsure about the size 😊

Feel free to discover their lovely patterns here.

3. The Nordic snood and hood from Petits D'oms

Back to France with Domitille from the children's brand Petits D'oms who offers us a super cute snood hood for children from 2 years old and adults with the Nordic model.

Nordic is a pattern for a snood or hood available from ages 2 to 16. The snood is very covering, it goes quite low on the upper chest and can be pulled up to cover the mouth and nose. It can be sewn with or without a hood. You can sew little bear ears onto the hood.

Its opening can be tightened with a cord for maximum protection against the cold.

This pattern for a hood, snood, and neck warmer is perfect for the winter season and can be sewn for both little ones and older kids.

As usual, Domitille takes care of every detail and validates all the little things that make a difference with her team of children!

4. The Demi-lune bag from Atelier Jumadi

We stay in France with Julia, a young, lively, and prolific pattern maker because yes, Julia offers us lots of very nice clothing and accessory patterns!
I have already sewn several and really like her work.

Here we will talk about her Half-Moon bag pattern, which is your new everyday ally: an ultra-modern rounded silhouette, a perfect size to carry essentials without being bulky, a design made to suit all your looks, and clever pockets to keep everything organized.

With its adjustable and detachable webbing, it can be worn as a crossbody or on the shoulder, like a reimagined fanny pack, more elegant and more spacious.

A perfect bag for going on vacation!

6. The Camur jacket by Comme une fleur

A pattern ranging from 32 to 60, sounds dreamy? Well, Fleur made it! The Camur jacket is a model you love and that we have already adapted in the workshop, notably with Roxane who made us a magnificent embroidered version!

Camur is an unlined jacket. It has a slightly trapeze cut that fits a bit at the bust and flares towards the bottom, flattering the silhouette while being a bit wider around the stomach. This jacket features a large stand-up collar to wrap yourself in, but you can also turn it down like a shirt collar or leave it collarless. The sleeves are straight to avoid adding too much volume.

Additionally, you have the choice between two pockets that give very different styles to the jacket. Pockets: two square pockets for a classic, versatile jacket, or a more decorative and original "flower" pocket. Buttonholes are not mandatory; you can use sew-on snaps on the inside and decorative buttons on the outside, placing them as you like. Seam allowances are included, and the sewing level is intermediate.

7. The Moonshine fanny pack from Dress Your Body

It makes me happy to see Christine reach number 7 in this ranking because she deserves it! Christine is a pattern maker who has been working for several years on beautiful, well-thought-out, feminine models... I have followed her work since the beginning and I really like what she does. I have actually sewn several models and there are still some on my to sew list 😂

The Moonshine fanny pack is THE XXL fanny pack ultra trendy. To allow everyone to enjoy it, it is available in 2 sizes, designed for an adult version (size XL) and a child version (size L). But anything is possible and it’s up to you to choose the size that suits you.

Super trendy but also super practical!

Oversize, it’s the Mary Poppins bag in which you can carry everything, but it has an inner pocket with a compartment that will help you stay organized!

8. The Zya pants from Comme une fleur

Who would have thought a pant model would be in the top 10... not me! But it must be said that Zya has everything to seduce! Fleur once again gave us a finely crafted pattern from size 32 to 60!

Zya is a palazzo-style pant pattern that also comes as shorts. At the front, you have 3 pressed pleats on each side and Italian pockets. At the back, there is an elastic in the waistband that allows skipping the zipper step. The elastic is only at the back to avoid adding volume at the front. You can then add belt loops and a long tied belt, but these remain optional. While the pant hem remains very basic, the shorts hem is rolled up (with the right side of the fabric!).

So, ready to discover Fleur's work, who places two patterns in the top 10? It's right here!

A pattern maker we really like at C'est du Joly is Fanny from Instinct Couture!

She offers us pretty feminine models and we have already sewn many in the team.

Here, we offer you the Amazilia skirt, which is a short and structured skirt, inspired by the college girl uniform, with its clips and flared style. This model features three flat pleats at the front and a knotted drape. The variations allow you to customize each version: complete with pleats and drapes for a bold look, draped only for softness, or simply pleated for a structured but clean effect. VILMA is a loose shirt or dress, with dropped shoulders and a classic collar with collar stand. Its fluid and airy cut allows complete freedom of movement. With a "casual chic" style, its patch pockets and classic collar give it a subtle but original character. The cuffs of the long sleeves are designed with inverted pleats and attached cuffs.
