This unique fabric is created using the ancestral block printing technique, where skilled artisans hand-carve wooden blocks to print intricate patterns. Each color is applied with a different block, following a meticulous and rhythmic process, thus creating a beautiful layering effect. Since each piece is entirely handmade, no two meters are identical. Slight variations in color, weaving, sewing, and printing testify to authentic craftsmanship and a well-rooted tradition.
