PDF - Digital Pattern for Solig Dress by Paradise patterns (English)
The Solig Dress is a simple gown with a smooth outline, suitable for beginners as well as skilled seamstresses. View A features an elasticated back and feels more secure around the chest than View B, which has a slightly scooped gathered back with ties. Both versions have a gently curved front neckline with side seam bust darts and slender straps. You can choose to make a full-length version with or without side seam slits, or a short version. The neckline is finished with a facing that covers your entire chest. The instructions will guide you through fitting elastic in the facing hem to turn it into a low-support built-in bra, if you wish.
This pattern will teach you some enjoyable techniques including:

✿ Elastic casing
✿ French seam slits

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS
This pattern is designed for woven cloths and its appearance will vary greatly depending on the fabric you select. A crepe will make it ready for an evening out, whereas a linen or cotton will make it the perfect everyday summer gown. Other favourites include seersucker for ultimate coolness, cotton poplin for a crisp and billowy shape, or any rayon/tencel for a lovely drape. If choosing a thicker cloth, like linen, you may want to use a matching, lighter weight cloth for the facing/bra.
