The handy handles hold 4 or 8 individual pins that can be placed in a single motion. This makes stretching much quicker and the edges are simultaneously fixed evenly. Stretching needlework is therefore much faster and the pins are distributed evenly. 

The handles are made of sturdy plastic; the sharp and sturdy pins are made of stainless steel.
