Ideal for patchwork or tight fabrics. Easy threading thanks to the large eyes that make threading the needle easier. The short needles are perfect for quilting, a technique linked to patchwork, and will help you, among other things, with the padding work.

The needle should not be long, as the technique differs from a standard sewing stitch: the needle is pushed horizontally through the fabric with very little space between stitches. They are generally used on 100% cotton patchwork, but can be used on all fabrics by adjusting the needle size. They are usually used with a quilting thread (stronger than traditional thread).
