You have taken the sashiko initiation or you have learned to embroider in sashiko. You want to create your own patterns but you hesitate to start? You want to customise your clothes but don’t know how to go about it? Then the sashiko course level 2 is made for you!

You will learn to make two traditional Japanese patterns: the asanoha pattern which will allow us to highlight the key points of pattern creation and the shippou pattern.
The only prerequisite for this course is to know the basics of sashiko.

During this 2-hour course session, you will learn:

  • the different ways to transfer a pattern
  • to create your sashiko pattern (asanoha and shippou)
  • to know the essential tools to create your pattern
  • to draw your first patterns

This course can be combined with making the Japanese apron and its sashiko embroidered pockets.

The course includes:

  • 2 hours of embroidery guided by an experienced teacher
  • The supplies needed for the workshop
  • the provision of the workshop’s equipment

  • unlimited drinks offered
