Women's overalls sewing pattern from size 32 to 52.

Straight overalls pattern 3 lengths: pants, bermuda shorts or shorts. 2 strap versions: adjustable with buckles + buttons (Version 1), adjustable with multi-position buttons (Version 2). Side openings. Fake fly. Front pockets, bib and back. Optional hammer pocket for the pants version. Lined bib. A timeless comfortable piece for all seasons.

Sewing level: intermediate to advanced 

What you will learn with this pattern: assembling pockets, making adjustable straps, making side openings.

A video is available for free access on the site showing the complete assembly of the garment. Unlike the kids version for girls and boys, the women's version does not offer a real zipped fly, only a fake fly, and the side opening flaps are not optional as in children's.

Size range: 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52

Size 32 corresponds approximately to a 14-year-old and 34 to a 16-year-old.

Material suggestions:

  • Gabardine/medium to heavy weight fabric (min 240g/m2 - up to 450g/m2), twill, denim, thick corduroy or milleraies, linen fabric, woven honeycomb, jacquard
  • Lining of bib & waistband: poplin, chambray, linen

    - Strap option: cotton or polyester strap 30 to 40 mm wide depending on desired look 

    - Straps version 1: 2 buckles and sliding buckles adapted to the strap width + 2 jean buttons - 15 to 17 mm diameter
    - Straps version 2: 4 snaps or jean buttons - 15 to 17 mm
    - Side openings: 4 additional buttons or snaps - 15 to 17 mm diameter
