Let's jump in and discover this courses designed specifically to mend small holes in your clothes

There are no prerequisites for this courses.
Teens aged 12 and over are very welcome.

During this 2.5-hour courses, you will learn:

  • Basic mending techniques using a darning egg and a mini mending loom
  • How to use hand needles for neat repairs
  • The tools and materials needed to create beautiful repairs

To discover the method, we invite you to bring your holey socks, holey jumpers, holey jeans... to repair them (or get the repairs started) together.
Please note that holes should be no larger than 5cm in diameter.
If you don't have any damaged clothing, a sample of damaged fabric can be provided.

The courses includes:

  • 1 x 2.5-hour courses guided by an experienced teacher
  • 2 skeins of Eco Vita merino wool or 2 solid skeins of 20m Sashiko thread (Olympus)
  • Smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone
  • Complimentary unlimited drinks

We offer the courses with a tool kit so you have everything you need to continue your work at home.
The kit includes a darning egg and a mini mending loom.
If you prefer not to purchase the kit, please bring your own darning egg and mending loom to the courses

Our courses take place in our workshop at:
Either Ixelles: Avenue de la Couronne, 357 1050 Ixelles
Or Woluwe-Saint-Lambert: Avenue Georges Henri, 328 1200 Woluwe-Saint-Lambert

Getting to the Ixelles workshop by public transport:

  • Bus 95 (Thys stop) - under a 1-minute walk
  • Bus 71 (Cimetière d'Ixelles stop) - 5-minute walk
  • Tram 7 or 25 (Gare d'Etterbeek stop) - 5-minute walk
  • Train (Etterbeek station) - 5-minute walk
  • Tram 8 (ULB stop) - 15-minute walk or connection with Bus 71 to Cimetière d'Ixelles
  • Metro 5 (Delta stop) - 15-minute walk or connection with Bus 71 to Cimetière d'Ixelles

Getting to the Woluwe workshop by public transport:

  • Tram 7 or 25 (Georges Henri stop) - 4-min walk
  • Metro 1 (Joséphine-Charlotte stop) - 9-min walk
  • Metro 1 (Montgomery stop) - 9-min walk
  • Metro 1 or 5 (Mérode stop) - 12-min walk
  • Train (Mérode stop) - 12-min walk
  • Train (Etterbeek station) then take the connection with Tram 7 towards Heizel or Tram 25 towards Rogier to the Georges Henri stop - 4-min walk
  • Train (Gare Centrale) then take the connection with Metro 1 towards Stockel to the Joséphine-Charlotte stop - 9-min walk
