Beechwood point presser / tailor’s clapper (price per piece)

Use this dual-purpose tool to press perfect pleats, flatten bulky facings and create beautifully sharp collar points.
The flat lower section (the tailor’s clapper) produces crisp, flat seams and folds and makes pleating easier.
Place the clapper on the fabric immediately after steam pressing and press down firmly for 10 to 15 seconds. The wood absorbs the steam and sets the fold or seam. Use the pointed handle (the point presser) for difficult seams such as collars, points and narrow, hard-to-reach corners. Lay the corner open and flat with the point presser inside, then use a steam iron to press the seam open. Turn the corner and repeat to create a perfectly sharp point.

This versatile tool can be used with either a steam iron or a dry iron. It bears the laser-engraved Milward logo.
