Belle Épine is a small top with a bohemian charm and a decidedly summery look. Delicate and very feminine, it stands out by its dart detail radiating on the chest, its V-neckline at front and back (whose cut allows wearing a bra), its pretty tie straps, and its shaped and gathered flounce. The pattern is fully lined, and the under top is constructed with classic bust darts. A version without lining is also possible thanks to neckline facing pieces. A perfect companion for hot summer days, the pattern comes in several versions: with or without flounce, with or without lining, so you can create your model as you wish. This sewing pattern is very easy to sew, with pretty finishes, in short… Irresistible!

Lightweight fabrics (80 to 200 g/m2) with more or less body depending on the desired effect on the flounces. Your fabric must press well and not distort too much: a viscose, a tencel, a cotton, a crepe, poplin, satin, or twill. Openwork fabrics like lace are also interesting because the pattern includes a lining.
