Nagano is a unisex child jacket pattern with a slightly oversize and comfortable fit, featuring a stand-up collar and raglan sleeves. Fully zipped at the front, it has side seam pockets and optional zipped patch pockets. Its outdoor-inspired style lends itself to many combinations of materials, colors, and contrasts.

What you will learn with this pattern: inserting a zipper, applying bias tape, sewing pockets, sewing raglan sleeves.
- Body, sleeves and outer collar: fleece, sherpa, softshell, sweatshirt, denim or heavy corduroy, wool coating.
- Pockets and inner collar: thin nylon Toile, needlecord, flannel, poplin.
- Standard or elastic bias tape
- Lightweight fusible interfacing
- Separating molded plastic, metal or nylon coil zipper for the front opening.
- Optional for zipped patch pockets: non-separating molded plastic, metal or nylon zipper, or continuous zipper tape.
Designed to be sewn in knit fabrics (fleece, sherpa, sweatshirt…), this model is also suitable for woven fabrics.
Zippers: choose zippers of the correct length. Otherwise, opt for a slightly shorter zipper for the center front and slightly longer zippers for the pocket zippers.
