Overlock Machine Improvement
Have you discovered how to use the serger through the serger initiation organized at C'est du Joly (sweatshirt or tee-shirt)?
Do you want to improve and sew a V-neck or square neckline tee-shirt? Are raglan sleeves intimidating you... you don’t dare to start alone? Are you not confident with certain techniques specific to stretch fabrics?
Then the course "I improve my skills with the serger" is made for you!
Choose the model you like (feel free to ask me for advice, I have plenty of ideas).
Prepare your pattern at home
Cut your pieces at home
And we will assemble your project together in the workshop while explaining the technical stitches of the models chosen by all participants!
The prerequisites for this course are either:
- having already participated in the serger initiation in our workshop
or having a very good knowledge of using the serger (including settings and threading)
We will complete your project together 😊
The group is limited to 5 students maximum.
The course includes:
- 3 hours of technical explanations and sewing of the project
- Use of 2 Juki sergers and one Brother
- Provision of basic materials: scissors, pins, black or white serger thread...
- Smiles, kindness, and respect for everyone
- Unlimited drinks

Not included: jersey fabric for the tee-shirt and cones of serger thread coordinated with your jersey.
