Sewing – Advanced Overlocker Skills
Have you discovered how to use an overlocker through the beginner's overlocker workshop organised at C'est du Joly (sweatshirt or t-shirt)?
Would you like to improve your skills and sew a V-neck or square neckline t-shirt? Do raglan sleeves intimidate you... or do you not dare to get started on your own? Are you struggling to master certain techniques specific to stretch fabrics?
Then the "advanced overlocker" course is made for you!
Choose the model you fancy (don't hesitate to ask me for advice, I have plenty of ideas).
Prepare your Pattern at home
Cut out your pieces at home
And we will assemble your project together in the workshop while explaining the technical points of the models chosen by all the participants!
The prerequisites for this course are either:
- to have already taken part in the beginner's overlocker session in our workshop
or to have a very good knowledge of using an overlocker (including threading and tension adjustment)
We will bring your project to life together 😊
The group consists of a maximum of 5 students.
The course includes:
- 3 hours of technical explanations and sewing your project
- The use of 2 Juki overlockers and one Brother
- Access to basic equipment: scissors, pins, black or white overlocker thread…
- A friendly, supportive atmosphere with respect for everyone
