MIMITO POUCH (Pattern and tutorial available in French and English)

PRINTED LINED WITH RUFFLE
LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE

The MIMITO Pouch is a lined printed, with ruffle, optional handle, and zipper closure.
With its timeless style, you can transform and adapt this pattern to suit all your desires. From a simple makeup bag to a beautiful evening clutch, the possibilities are endless.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS

Linen, lyocell, silk muslin, cotton poplin, seersucker, flannel, denim cotton, velvet, or chambray.
Wadding can also be added for a thicker finish. Avoid stiff and too thick fabrics for the ruffle and lining.

Outer fabric 40cm
Lining 25cm
Zipper 25cm

Notes: Be sure to wash your fabric well before use.

PDF PATTERN

This pattern is available in PROJECTOR, PRINT AT HOME, and COPY SHOP formats. 

The PROJECTOR pattern can be opened with Adobe Acrobat. Make sure your projector is calibrated and carefully measure the test square to ensure the pattern is at the correct scale. If you are using a dark-colored fabric, change the projector file’s color so the pattern and text are easier to see.

The Copy Shop pattern can be printed on a single sheet of A1 paper or the American equivalent, at a print shop. It must be printed at 100% scale. Remember to check the test square on the pattern before leaving the shop to ensure the pattern was printed at the correct scale. The COPY SHOP format is also suitable for projector cutting.

The Print At Home pattern can be printed at home at 100% scale, from any A4 or US Letter printer. It contains 8 pages that must be assembled after trimming the margins from the sheets. Tape them together following the page number order.

SEAM ALLOWANCES

All seam allowances are included in the pattern. Follow the instructions carefully in this tutorial.
