The Judd top, a simple basic top, ideal for spring and summer.
No sleeves to set in, all the details and steps of the model are as easy to make for experts as for beginners in sewing.
Its loose shape suits all body types. Its beautiful drape and straightforward style allow it to be made in a wide range of fabrics. Its sleeve detail with a buttoned strap on the shoulder offers the possibility to play with materials and colours, for a unique style and countless versions of this summer top!

Level 1 – Beginner

You will learn to:

  • Make a hem
  • Attach a facing
  • Prerequisites: straight sewing and hand sewing

Time to complete: 3h - 3h30

Supplies:

  • Recommended fabrics: a flowing fabric -> cotton cloth, Liberty, chambray, batiste, poplin, viscose, double gauze … Note: check the wrong side of the fabric because the sleeves have cuffs!
  • A spool of matching thread
  • Two buttons about 11-15 mm in diameter
