SIZE NEWBORN TO 5 YEARS

LEVEL: BEGINNER

The capsule collection from Atelier MIMITO consists of timeless and durable patterns so that children can grow in their clothes, thus reducing excessive wardrobe changes.
The NINO pattern allows you to create shorts and pants with an elastic waistband and
flat-felled seams for greater durability.
This pattern is suitable for users of washable nappies as it is wide enough to allow free movement for the baby.

RECOMMENDED FABRIC
Medium heavy linen (from 180gr/m2), cotton twill, natural silk, double gauze, flannel, wool crepe or boiled wool.
Avoid fabrics that are too stiff or too thin as well as stretch fabrics.

SUPPLIES
- Fabric
- Thread
- 2.5cm wide elastic (or smaller).

PDF PATTERN
This pattern is available in PROJECTOR, PRINT AT HOME, and COPY SHOP formats. With Adobe Acrobat Reader, it is possible to project or print only the chosen size by selecting the corresponding “layer”.

The PROJECTOR pattern can be opened using Adobe Acrobat. You can deselect the sizes you do not need and display only the desired size. Make sure your projector is calibrated and carefully measure the test square to ensure the pattern is at the correct scale. If you are using a dark-colored fabric, change the projector file’s color so that the pattern and text are easier to see.

The Copy Shop pattern can be printed on a single A0 sheet at a print shop. Remember to check the test square on the pattern before leaving the shop to ensure the pattern has been printed at the correct scale.

The Print At Home pattern can be printed at home at 100% scale and “auto” orientation, from any A4 or US Letter printer. It contains 16 pages that must be assembled after trimming the margins of the sheets. Tape them together following the page number order.
To make the pants, print pages 1 to 10. For shorts only, print pages 1 and 6 then pages 11 to 16.
Remember to measure the test square on page 1 before printing all pages.
