Very easy to sew, with or without side pockets (with for practicality, without for quicker making), its elasticated waistband will help you avoid difficulties and offers unmatched comfort!
The model can be made with many fabrics to express your style, elegant or very casual: the choice is yours!

This shorts or trousers pattern offers a simple model to sew, without buttonholes or zippers, thanks to its elasticated waistband which provides comfort and ease of making, but hidden under a pretty front tie to keep it charming.

It can be made in any season, choose the shorts or trousers version in a flowing fabric, or in cotton cloth or linen for the warm season

or choose to make the trousers in a soft woollen fabric or a flowing twill for winter.

The pattern is offered from size 34 to 48. Generally, you can take your usual ready-to-wear size, or consult the size guide to be sure.

Level 1 – Beginner

You will learn to:
– Assemble an elasticated waistband
– make side pockets (optional)
– Prerequisite: straight sewing

Making time : 2h30-3h

Supplies:

– Recommended fabrics: flowing twill, viscose, cotton cloth, fine tweed, velvet, soft denim, crepe, …

> 1.20m for the shorts

> 2.30m for the trousers
– 1m of 3cm wide elastic
– a spool of matching thread
