REVERSIBLE AND ADJUSTABLE HAT 
(Pattern and tutorial available in French and English)

SIZE 6 MONTHS - 12 YEARS

LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE

This pattern and tutorial allow you to create a fully reversible and adjustable hat for children aged 6 months to 12 years.
The TIMO pattern (as well as a large part of the ATELIER MIMITO patterns) was designed so that your child can grow in their clothes and thus reduce excessive wardrobe changes.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS

Linen, lyocell, silk muslin, cotton poplin, seersucker, flannel, denim cotton, velvet, or chambray.
Wadding can also be added for a thicker finish or fusible interfacing for a stiffer result.
Avoid stiff and overly thick fabrics.

FABRIC REQUIRED

This pattern is perfect for using up your fabric scraps.
25 cm of two different fabrics is enough to make a hat of any size.

SUPPLIES

- Fabric / Threads
- Fusible interfacing
- Shoelace, ribbon, or adjustable cord. You can also make your own strap about 1m long on average.
- Fabric strips or elastic

PDF PATTERN

This pattern is available in PROJECTOR, PRINT AT HOME, and COPY SHOP formats. With Adobe Acrobat Reader, it is possible to project or print only the chosen size by selecting the corresponding “layer”. 

The PROJECTOR pattern can be opened using Adobe Acrobat. You can deselect the sizes you do not need and display only the desired size. Make sure your projector is calibrated and carefully measure the measurement square to ensure the pattern is at the correct scale. If you are using a dark-colored fabric, change the projector file’s color so that the pattern and text are easier to see.

The Copy Shop pattern can be printed on a single sheet of A1 paper or the American equivalent, at a print shop. It must be printed at 100% scale. Remember to check the measurement square on the pattern before leaving the store to ensure the pattern was printed at the correct scale. The COPY SHOP format is also suitable for projector cutting.

The Print At Home pattern can be printed at home, at 100% scale, from any A4 or US Letter printer. It contains 8 pages that must be assembled after trimming the margins of the sheets. Tape them together following the page number order.

SEAM ALLOWANCE

All seam allowances are included in the pattern.
