DODO is a fully lined baby sleeping bag with a side zipper and snap button openings at the shoulders. This pattern offers a reversible version with a ruffle option and a lined version finished with bias binding.

With its timeless design, the DODO sleeping bag is an essential piece in the baby's wardrobe that can be given as a gift or kept carefully as a keepsake for the next generation!

RECOMMENDED FABRIC

Notes: Several fabrics are needed to make the DODO sleeping bag. You need a lining, an outer fabric, and optionally a wadding. Both woven and knitted fabrics can be used.

For the lining, it is recommended to use an absorbent fabric such as cotton poplin, seersucker (crinkled fabric), linen, or honeycomb fabrics (waffle terry).
For the outer fabric, a lightweight or medium-weight fabric is suitable such as linen, wool, sherpa fabric, flannel, or cotton velvet. Avoid fabrics that are too stiff or synthetic to prevent the baby from overheating.
Adding a third fabric is possible to provide structure and a bit more warmth to the sleeping bag, such as natural wadding, cotton flannel, wool, or bamboo.

- 55cm zipper (Can be shorter or longer)

PDF TUTORIAL AND PATTERN

This pattern is available in PROJECTOR format, Print At Home, and Copy Shop. With Adobe Acrobat, you can print only the size you want by selecting the corresponding “layer.”

The PROJECTOR pattern can be opened with Adobe Acrobat. You can deselect the sizes you do not need and display only the desired size. Make sure your projector is calibrated and carefully measure the test square to ensure the pattern is at the correct scale. If you use a dark-colored fabric, change the projector file’s color so the pattern and text are easier to see.
The Copy Shop pattern can be printed on two A0 sheets
at a print shop. It must be printed at 100% scale and with “Auto” orientation. Print only the second page if you are making the ruffled sleeping bag in size 18 - 24 months. Remember to
check the test square on the pattern before leaving the shop to ensure it is printed at the correct scale.

The Print At Home pattern can be printed at home at 100% scale in auto mode (not portrait), from any A4 or US Letter printer. It contains 30 pages that must be assembled after trimming the margins from the sheets. Tape them together following the page number order.
