PDF - digital pattern: Set of two bibs Mimo for newborn to 6 months - Atelier Mimito (fr/eng)
The MIMO pattern is a reversible bib for babies and children, available in four sizes.
With its timeless design, this pattern is an essential piece of the baby's wardrobe and can be sewn endlessly.
The tutorial below shows how to make a standard bib or a petal bib without visible seams.
The neck circumference size is the same on all four patterns and fits children from
newborn to 6 years old.
RECOMMENDED FABRIC
Linen, lyocell, silk muslin, cotton poplin, seersucker, flannel, not too thick denim cotton, as well as chambray and velvet.
Avoid fabrics that are too thick for the petal version.
If your fabric is very thin, it is recommended to add interfacing, wadding, or even a waterproof fabric to prevent soiling both sides of the bib.
This pattern is also perfect for embroidery!
If you have any doubts, I invite you to take a look at the hashtag #mimomimito on Instagram for inspiration.
FABRIC REQUIRED
Less than half a meter is needed to make this pattern. It is also perfect for using your fabric scraps.
Notes: Make sure to wash your fabric well before use.

PDF PATTERN
This pattern is available in PROJECTOR, PRINT AT HOME, and COPY SHOP formats. With Adobe Acrobat Reader, it is possible to project or print only the chosen size by selecting the corresponding “layer.”
The PROJECTOR pattern can be opened with Adobe Acrobat. You can deselect the sizes you do not need and display only the desired size. Make sure your projector is calibrated and carefully measure the measurement square to ensure the pattern is at the correct scale. If you are using a dark-colored fabric, change the projector file color so the pattern and text are easier to see.
The Copy Shop pattern can be printed on a single A3 sheet at a print shop. It must be printed at 100% scale. Remember to check the measurement square on the pattern before leaving the shop to ensure the pattern was printed at the correct scale.
The Print At Home pattern can be printed at home at 100% scale, from any A4 or US Letter printer. It contains 3 pages that must be assembled after first trimming the margins of the sheets.
