Wishing Girl is a fully modular pattern that allows you to sew a wide variety of blouses, dresses, and skirts!

The basic Wishing Girl pattern consists of 2 front yokes, 2 fronts, 1 back, 2 sleeves, 2 “waist” finishes, and 2 skirt hem lengths.

This model offers the choice of:

• 2 front yokes
• 2 fronts
• 1 back
• 2 sleeves
• 2 “waist” finishes
• 2 skirt hem lengths

All available as blouse, dress, or skirt

On the bodice, gathers are placed at the front and back yokes to give it a nice full volume

The shoulder width and shoulders are fitted without restricting movement

“Tie” yoke A: 

This yoke extends down the center front with a tie.

This one adds texture to the blouse while giving a slightly dandy casual look to the style

“Simple” yoke B: 

This yoke simply joins the V-neckline

Ideal for inserting a piping

Button front A: 

This front closes with 4 buttons down the center front

Simple front B: 

This very simple front is cut on the fold

Back: 

The back is adorned with gathers that give a comfortable volume to the bodice

D’Artagnan Sleeves A: 

The sleeves are gathered at the shoulder then tighten at the wrist with an elastic, creating a pretty little ruffle that falls over the top of the hand

Sleeves Elasticated B: 

Gathered at the shoulder, the sleeve cuffs are tightened with an elastic

Waist of belted dress: 

A belt marks the waist and gives the bodice its blousing effect

To keep this blousing effect, I chose to stop the zipper at the waist, so the bodice closes thanks to a hidden slit covered by a flap and under/flap

Dress waist elasticized: 

The waist is simply marked by an inner elastic

Dress bottom A: 

This dress bottom is mini length, it ends with a flounce

Dress bottom B: 

This dress bottom is midi length, it also ends with a flounce

Skirt: 

A special skirt belt is offered to transform the 2 dress bottoms into small flared skirts

The skirts close with an invisible zip

The belt has a small tab to be able to close it with a button or a hook

The PDF file contains:

• The instructions.
• An explanatory booklet of layers and printouts.
• The PDF patterns to print in A4/ US letter compatible and A0 format, seam allowances already included.
• The illustrated, clear and detailed assembly guides.

Since Wishing Girl is modular, the PDF file consists of several folders and subfolders.

Tencel, viscose, silk, cotton, linen, chambray, double gauze, crépon, crepe…

Given the many possibilities, it is difficult to calculate an exact yardage for all variations.

The yardages given below are approximate, excluding extras and for a 140cm width
