The wind comes as a blouse or a dress, it is the ideal model for spring!

Its volume is loose, its sleeves are batwing, the shoulder is dressed with a yoke, its collar is open and its front center is adorned with 3 sets of 3 small buttons…

Several sleeve and hem variations are offered so you can sew a model that looks like you!

The wind offers you the choice of:

• 3 sleeve types
• 2 sleeve lengths
• 3 blouse hem finishes
• 2 dress hem finishes

The dress version is adorned with 2 small loops and a removable belt to mark the waist.

Sleeve A: 

This sleeve is simple, long or 3/4, a classic 2cm hem finishes it

Sleeve B: 

This sleeve is adorned with slight gathers at the shoulder

Long or 3/4, the gathered sleeve hem is tightened with a small cuff

Sleeve C: 

This 3/4 sleeve is simple, the hem is adorned with a slit, a tie nicely fastens it

Sleeve D: 

This 3/4 sleeve is gathered at the shoulder, the hem is adorned with a slit, a tie nicely fastens it

Blouse hem finish: 

You have 3 options:

• straight hem
• shirt tail hem
• tied hem

Dress hem finish: 

You have 2 options:

• straight hem
• shirt tail hem

The PDF file contains:

The wind being modular, the PDF file consists of several folders and subfolders.

Fabrics and Yardage:

Tencel, viscose, silk, cotton, linen, chambray, double gauze, crepon, crepe…

Given the many possibilities, it is difficult to calculate an exact yardage for all variations.

The yardages given below are indicative and for a fabric width of 140cm

• Tied blouse, sleeves A or B: 200cm
• Tied blouse, sleeves C or D: 170cm
• Dress, sleeves A or B: 250cm
• Dress, sleeves C or D: 230cm

Supplies:

– Buttons 11mm x 9 if you follow the pattern marking

– Fusible interfacing: blouses 50cm
dresses 110 cm

– Bias: shirt tail hem 75cm
tied hem 80cm

– For the facing, 3 finishes are offered; if you choose the one with bias, you will need:

190 cm for the blouse with straight hem and shirt tail hem versions
220 cm for the tied hem version
280cm for the dress version

– If you want to dress your raglan armholes with piping, you will need 200 cm

– Safety pin or bias turner to turn the loops (belted dress version)

Measurement table:

To know your size, measure yourself using a tape measure and refer to the table below.
The “hip” measurement is taken 20 cm below the waist.
