Sintra is a summer pattern with a minimalist spirit that comes as a top or a short or midi length dress. However, it has different options to add a touch of whimsy according to your desires. The pattern offers a version with an ultra-feminine ruffle and a version with a small, sexier bow.

The curved straps that follow the shape of the shoulder and its width make Sintra a small pattern perfect for hot weather.
The pattern also offers to lengthen the top into a short dress or midi length.

The sewing level is intermediate for sewists who have already sewn curves and applied an invisible bias tape. The technical stitches include applying the invisible bias tape, making the tear-resistant slit (option), and sewing the curved straps.

Available in pdf – Size range from 34 to 46
The pdf format includes:

  • A digital instruction booklet in A4 format with detailed illustrations
  • A pattern in A4 format to print at home and tape together
  • A pattern in A0 format on 2 pages

Adjustment tips:

  • The pattern height is 1.72m.
  • The pattern was sewn in size 40 for measurements: 93 – 77 – 103cm

NECESSARY HABERDASHERY

    • Top version fabric: 90 to 1.10m – 140cm width
      Dress version fabric: 2m – 140cm width
    • Interfacing: lightweight type Vlieseline H200: 50cm to 1m
    • 80cm of bias tape
    • Bow option: 80cm of thin cord
    • Button option: 6 to 12 buttons of 10mm

 

RECOMMENDED FABRICS

Lightweight or medium weight fabric (80 to 180g/m2)

SEWING LEVEL

Level 2/4 intermediate
