Charlie is a fully backless top, ideal for the summer season.
This pattern can be fully lined to become reversible: you sew one top, you can wear two!
Pair it with high-waisted shorts and sandals for a light summer outfit.
For a dressier look, sew it with palazzo pants in the same fabric to create the illusion of a jumpsuit, to be worn with heeled sandals!

Lined version: 70 cm of fabric and 70 cm of lining
UNLINED version: 70 cm of fabric
A 200 m spool of thread
Sewing advice
For the Charlie top, I recommend using linen, linen viscose, double gauze, cotton voile, viscose, broderie anglaise, tencel, cotton poplin... Opt for viscose if you want a fluid version, cotton if you want more structure.
In its lined version, the top is fully reversible! Make sure to choose two fabrics with similar characteristics.
Choose your usual size for Charlie! I am wearing the top in size 38 and my measurements are 90-70-94.
The pattern was made for a height of 1.68 m.
If you have a short torso, I recommend shortening the top so that the waist tie falls nicely on your waistline. Conversely, if you have a longer torso :)
