PDF - Digital Pattern of the Annick Top from the Atelier des premières - from size 34 to 50 (fr)
Annick is an ideal top for those who are new to sewing. Very quick to make and very inexpensive in fabric, you can also make a fully reversible version for a 2-in-1 top :)
Its pretty knots to tie on the sides are what make this top so unique!
Level
Beginner/intermediate
Necessary supplies
You will need the following to make the Annick top:
IN A WIDTH OF 1.4 M:
All sizes:
50 cm of fabric
1 spool of 100 m thread
2.5m of bias tape matching the fabric (optional, you can make your own bias tape)
For the lined version, add 50 cm of lining.
Making advice
The Annick top is very simple in terms of construction; you just need to handle your iron well, so I advise you to choose a fabric that presses well, such as cotton, viscose, linen, and tencel. Avoid polyester fabrics at all costs as they do not press well!
For beginners, I recommend cotton poplin as the preferred fabric.
