In t-shirt or long or short dress, have fun creating the model that suits you!

The long dress version is sewn in a cotton jersey weighing 180 gr/m². I find it slightly stiff for the version I chose, with elasticated shoulders.
The mustard and khaki versions are linen/viscose jerseys weighing 170 gr/m².
The short dress version is sewn with a lightweight cotton jersey.
Summer Sun: the multiversion pattern!
Easy and quick to sew, with its 3 different collars and its 3 shoulder styles to adapt into a t-shirt or a long or short dress, the Summer Sun sewing pattern will accompany you all summer!
With the Summer Sun sewing pattern you have the choice between:
Three necklines:
- Round
- V-neck
- Flared
Three shoulder styles:
- Elasticated shoulders, 2 elastics are slipped into casings, you can choose the length of the elastic to have a more or less covered shoulder
- Tied shoulders, 2 ties to tie are slipped into the casings
- Simple shoulders
Three lengths:
- T-shirt
- Short dress
- Long dress slit on both sides or only on one side, your choice!
A tutorial also accompanies you to sew an elasticated waistband.
Depending on the chosen version you will learn:
- Sewing casings for ties or elastics
- Sewing tubular ties
- Sewing a collar on knit fabric
- Creating a clean finish on the back of the neckline
- Sewing sleeve cuffs
What you will receive:
- The pattern in PDF format, printable in A4/US Letter or linear A0, including seam allowances.

For a fabric width of 140cm:
T-shirt: Size 32 – 38: 90 cm /// Size 40 – 44: 90 cm or 120 cm for the shoulder ties version /// Size 46 – 52: 165 cm
Short dress: Size 32 – 44: 120 cm /// Size 46 – 52: 260cm
Long dress: Size 32 – 44: 160 cm /// Size 46 – 52: 300 cm
Dress Belt:
Size 32 to 44: If you want to sew the belt, add 10 cm to the stated yardage
Size 46 to 52: The belt fits into the scraps
Supplies:
– Special jersey needle
– Special double stretch needle, optional but very useful for neat hems.
– Elastic, “elastic shoulders” version only, width 1.5 cm. Cut 4 elastics to shoulder length. You will then adjust their final lengths as you wish
– “Rat tail” cord, “ties” version only, to help turn the ties 4x50cm
– Single-sided foot for the “shoulder ties” version
– Safety pins x2, “elastic” version and “ties” version
– Belt buckle + elastic: optional, see tutorial in appendix for instructions
Measurement chart:
To know your size, measure yourself with a tape measure and refer to the chart below.
The “hip” measurement is taken 20 cm below the waist.
