Mapulin is a sweatshirt top or dress.
The cut is fitted at the waist to highlight it while keeping a garment that is not tight.
You can sew it with long puffed sleeves gathered at the end by a casing elastic or 3-part sleeves, with a balloon part and a sleeve cuff.
At the neckline, there is a large crossed collar that can be worn raised or folded over itself for a completely different style.
The dress variant has hidden pockets in the seam that are very easy to make.
The bottom of the top is finished with a simple hem.
You can sew it with an overlocker or a sewing machine.
Seam allowances are included.
This pattern was made for a brushed sweatshirt fabric (fleece) with a bit of stretch. I made a version in french terry (thinner looped sweatshirt) by choosing one size smaller; you have the finished measurements chart to get an idea of the ease.
