Louise can be sewn as shorts or culotte skirt, with three different lengths offered. This pattern features a pretty gathered waistband (or not), invisible pockets, as well as multiple flat pleats for a maxi volume! 

In its shortest version, use an autumnal floral cotton poplin, to wear with a plain blouse, tights, and slightly rock ankle boots.

 In its mid-thigh version, I recommend a fluid fabric to really play the illusion of a skirt.

Finally, in its long version, sew it in denim to get a maxi structured volume, to wear with a shirt or loafers, or in textured viscose crepe, to pair with a thin tank top, a blazer, and a pair of sneakers

The Louise culotte skirt comes in several lengths.

Depending on the desired result, you can sew it in very fluid materials like viscose crepe, viscose linen; but also in fabrics with more structure like cotton poplin, gabardine or twill, tencel... You got it, many materials are suitable for this pattern! The opportunity to create multiple versions with a different look each time.

Short culotte skirt: 1.25 m of fabric.

Medium culotte skirt: 1.40 m of fabric.

Long culotte skirt: 2.25 m of fabric.
