Ema is a high-waisted short, with 2 slant pockets at the hips and 2 darts at the back to properly adjust the waist.
It closes with a zipper and a hook at the waistband.
This piece is ideal for autumn and early winter! But you can also make more spring-like versions with lighter fabrics.

Recommended materials
I made my shorts in upholstery fabric, but they can be made in wool fabric, jacquard, chambray or cotton, depending on your desires and the season!
Fabrics
- 1 meter of fabric by 1.40 meters width
- 25 cm by 1 meter of fabric for the pocket linings and pocket bag (light cotton, poplin, satin…)
Supplies
- 1 zipper of 15 cm
- 1 hook to close the shorts (about 2 cm)
