The Suricate pattern comes in two sizes and two versions: bag and belt bag! Its rectangular shape is timeless and practical for slipping all our stuff (our clutter? )! It will accompany you in your daily life.
The pattern is fully lined and has a zipped closure on the front to store your phone or bank card (depending on the sewn size) and an internal pocket to store your keys, lipstick, etc.
Dimensions:
Size S: 20 x 12 x 5 cm
Size M: 26 x 16 x 6 cm
The size S is suitable for the belt bag format or the creation of a mini bag. It is possible to slip your phone in the main opening and one or more bank cards in the zipped pocket on the front of the bag.
The size M allows for a large wallet in the main opening and a smartphone in the zipped pocket on the front of the bag.

Recommended fabrics
Outer fabric(s):
It is preferable to choose a fabric that has good body for the main fabric even though the fabric is fusible interfaced. You can use velvet, corduroy, faux leather, suede fabric, jacquard, etc..
For the panels you can use faux leather, suede fabric or even cottons!
Lining fabric:
For the lining you can use cotton, but you can also use your scraps (viscose, polyester, etc.)

This bag is relatively simple to sew, but requires precision for sewing the zip. Depending on the chosen fabric, it can be more or less complex to sew through the layers (it all depends on your machine, and your patience… ).
It is preferable to have already sewn some clothes or accessories. Accessible to motivated beginners!
