Pilou is a pattern for pajamas for girls and boys, available from 2 to 16 years old.

This design is simple and timeless. The cut is straight for both the top and the bottom, with a moderate ease for comfortable clothing that is not too loose.

The neckline is rounded and fairly close to the neck. The cuffs of the sleeves and legs as well as the hem of the top are finished with a ribbed band or jersey.

The elastic at the waist is directly integrated into the fold at the top of the trousers.

Depending on the fabric chosen (from fine jersey to the thickest sweatshirt fabric), you will get pajamas that are more or less warm.

You can also use the pattern for the top to make a sweatshirt, and use the bottom pattern to sew jogging trousers.

All these assembly and finishing choices make Pilou a very quick and easy model to sew. It is ideal if you are starting out with stretch fabrics.
