PDF - Digital Pattern for the Jacques Sweater from Atelier Bernie
The Jacques sweater pays tribute to one of my favourite singers, Jacques Brel. His love songs accompanied me during my youth and remain dear to my heart.
Jacques is an oversized model, to be worn over a blouse with a lavallière collar or a blouse with puffed sleeves in a 1940s spirit. It will also be perfect over a small polo neck sweater and wide trousers for a seventies style.
It is characterised by a heart-shaped neckline and side slits. To be worn loose or belted, it will be the perfect accessory to complete a mid-season outfit.
The Jacques sweater is not lined. It is finished with a facing edged with bias tape and the armholes are finished with invisible bias tape.
