Zya is a palazzo style pants pattern that also comes as shorts.
At the front you have 3 pressed pleats on each side and italian pockets.
At the back there is an elastic in the waistband which allows skipping the zipper step. The elastic is only at the back to avoid adding volume at the front.
You can then add belt loops and a long tied belt, but these remain options.
If the pants hem remains very basic, the shorts hem is turned up (with the right side of the fabric!).
This pattern was made for woven fabric such as a poplin, a cotton, a viscose (a real caress on your legs, it feels so good…), a crepe or even a taffeta.
Seam allowances are included (1cm everywhere except hems: 2 cm for pants and 8cm for shorts) and the sewing level is intermediate.

•fabric: 1.3 m to 1.6 m shorts
•fabric: 2.4 m to 2.7 m pants
•elastic: 3-4 cm wide, length half of your waist measurement
•light fusible interfacing, a rectangle of 80 by 30cm
