OPAZ is a pair of trousers with a high and fitted waist and wide legs. It is a well-crafted basic with lovely details, notably Italian pockets with front panels as well as an elasticated back waistband for optimal comfort on any occasion. Easily adjustable in length, it can be adapted according to the seasons, making it a wardrobe essential! OPAZ goes with everything but will be perfect paired with a small blouse, a loose jumper, or a T-shirt!

Materials
1 button of 2.5 cm
20 cm of interfacing suitable for your fabric
60 cm of fusible interfacing along the grain
30 cm of bias tape (optional)
1 elastic band 60 cm x 3.5 cm (4 cm for the more experienced)
1 fly zipper of 15 cm
A safety pin
Tracing wheel and carbon paper (to transfer the topstitching design)

Fabric
– Sizes 32 to 44: 2.00 m of fabric at 1.40 m width
– Sizes 46 to 56: 2.50 m of fabric at 1.40 m width
Choose a woven fabric with good body. I recommend gabardine, corduroy, fine woollen cloth, denim, or washed linen for a more summery version.
Recommended weight: between 250 and 380g / m².

40 cm of fabric at 1.40 m width
