Mencia is a high-waisted palazzo pant, ideal for all seasons!

In a fluid viscose or polyester crepe, these pants will be perfect for this summer. Sew them in a light gabardine or tencel for chic pants, to pair with a blazer.

In its shorts version, you can use cotton chambray with a patterned blouse and sneakers.
You can also sew the shorts in a fluid printed vichy fabric in color, to pair with a white shirt tied at the waist, always with a pair of sneakers!

Recommended fabrics
The Mencia pants are palazzo pants; if you want a slightly structured look, choose linen, cotton poplin, or a light gabardine. For an airy look, I recommend viscose, polyester crepe, or cotton voile

Necessary supplies

You will need the following to make the Mencia pants: 

Pants: 2.3 m of fabric for sizes 34-40
                 2.7 m for sizes 42 - 50

Shorts: 1 m of fabric for sizes 34 - 40
             1.3 m of fabric for sizes 42-50

1 spool of 200 m thread
Fusible interfacing (optional)

1 invisible zipper of 22 cm
