Its straight cut, 7/8 length, and mid-rise (range 1) or high-rise (range 2) waist give it a clean and confident silhouette, while the asymmetrical fold at the front adds a unique graphic touch.
Designed for demanding beginners, Pleat consists of only three pieces and has no side seams, making it quick and easy to sew. But far from being a basic pattern, it stands out through a refined and subtle construction that favors shape and style without sacrificing ease of making. An accessible yet sharp pair of trousers, perfect for starting out while sewing a piece with strong character.
FABRICS:
- Choose a stable fabric such as cotton poplin, cotton satin, or chambray weighing between 120gr/m2 and 180gr/m2. Select a fabric with a fairly tight weave; avoid very fluid fabrics like tencel and viscose or unstable fabrics like linen because the front fold is cut on the bias.
Patterned fabrics are not recommended if you want to highlight the front fold of the design.

MATERIALS:
