Cho Junior is the mini version of Cho for women. Let your creativity and desires speak by choosing from the following options:

  • 2 large flat collars
  • 2 sleeve lengths with box pleats
  • 2 necklines
  • blouse (neckline A), buttoned (neckline B), top or peplum dress
  • lined or unlined models

For neat finishes, the neckline is finished with a folded bias tape (unlined version) and the seams of the sleeves and bodice are made using the English seam technique.

Sewing level

Advanced beginner to intermediate depending on the options chosen. The technical points are the application of the neckline bias tape, the making of the box pleats on the sleeves, and the application of the cuff (technique 2).

Size guide

The key measurement to choose the pattern size is the chest circumference. The height is indicative. If the measurements between chest circumference and height do not match, you can make adjustments (explained in the booklet)

You can choose between the 4-9 years, 9-14 years packs or the complete 4-14 years pack.

  • Pattern sheet in 2 formats (Plotter format A0 and booklet A4). Files with layers: you can choose only the size(s) to print, with or without seam allowances. No cutting for the A4 format: the sheets join edge to edge. Pieces without overlap.

The PDF patterns are to be printed by yourself.

Required materials

Fabric

Choose a woven fabric of light to medium weight (80 to 150g/m2): a cotton not too thick, viscose, tencel, linen, silk, embroidered cotton, chambray, crepe. For the lining, choose a cotton or viscose voile.

Warning! The values are given as a guide and may vary depending on the options you have chosen and your ability to arrange the pieces when cutting the fabric.

Small haberdashery

  • Matching thread, needles suitable for your fabric.
  • Fusible interfacing suitable for your fabric
  • Fusible straight grain interfacing for the neckline if no collar version.
  • Buttons (shirt versions), maximum diameter 15 mm
  • Matching bias tape for your fabric (unlined version). Lengths in cm

Piping, braid, lace or rickrack to decorate the collar.
