Sewing Pattern coat or trench
Calamity Jane is a long coat (length below the knee) with raglan sleeves, a loose cut, whose style and details recall the traditional American cowboy coat. It is fully lined and has pockets set into the seams. The most emblematic feature of the style is its removable "dust flap," a kind of small cape that covers the shoulders.
❥ The fronts of Calamity Jane close with a double-breasted fastening, on a fairly wide overlap to allow the deployment of its large collar.
❥ Its tie belt is the feminine touch of the model: it cinches the silhouette at the waist. The shoulders and cuffs are adorned with buttoned tabs, for a sophisticated touch.
❥ For optimal comfort, the lining of the trench coat Calamity Jane features a width ease pleat and extra length ease. The sleeves also have extra ease.
To sew Calamity Jane in trench style: gabardine, denim, jacquard, tweed, water-repellent
To sew Calamity Jane in coat style: soft and fine woollen cloth, velvet.

300 and 450 g/m² and with suppleness.Body lining: poplin, viscose, batiste, cotton satin
Sleeve lining: satin (cotton or synthetic), silk
