The Sari coat is an oversized coat with a high collar, very voluminous sleeves, and piped pockets. 

Pair it with barrel jeans and sneakers, sew it in a patterned wool fabric for a statement piece!

Choose a plain wool fabric and wear it with a long knit dress and heeled boots for a dressier look :)

Necessary supplies

IN A WIDTH OF 1.40 M
For the fabric:
From XS to M: 2.30m
From L to XXL: 3.10m
For the lining:
From XS to M: 2.10m
From L to XXL: 2.70m
1 spool of thread
1 meter of fusible interfacing
5 buttons of 20-22 mm or 5 invisible snap buttons to sew on

Prefer a warm and structured material like wool or wool blend. You will need a coat-weight fabric (min 350g/m2), such as woolen cloth, pea coat fabric, etc., for a nice structured finish!

For the lining, opt for cotton satin, viscose, or polyester.

I recommend choosing your usual size for the Sari coat. 

If you are between two sizes, I recommend sizing down because the coat is oversized. Make a test garment beforehand to ensure the fit of the garment!
