Oana is a fairly basic coat pattern.

This coat features patch pockets on the front, at the level of 2 rounded yokes.
A rounded cut also at the back yoke. A slightly rounded shirt collar.
Tailored sleeves with tabs and buttons at the wrist.
This pattern is fully lined.

With this pattern you will learn different sewing techniques, such as assembling a patch pocket, making a lining, and you will perfect your curved seam assemblies!

I made my coat in a wool fabric, for this pattern you can use many materials, such as tweed, boucle wool, jacquard, velvet, boiled wool…

Fabrics

  • 2 meters (2.50 meters for sizes 42 and up) of fabric at 1.40 meters width
  • 1.50 meters (2 meters for sizes 42 and up) of lining at 1.40 meters width

Supplies

  • 7 buttons about 2.5cm in diameter
  • Fusible interfacing for your collar
