Gotan is a pattern for jeggings for girls, available from 2 to 16 years old.

The cut is slim or flared. The originality of this pattern lies in this pretty curved line that connects the back yoke to the front cut. This cut is optional and you can make a simpler version.

A blend of jeans and leggings, the jegging fits close to the body and is as comfortable as leggings, while adopting the features of jeans for a smarter, less sporty look: pockets, (fake) fly, yoke at the back top, and contrasting topstitching.

Gotan is easier to sew than jeans: the fake fly creates the illusion and the waistband is a band into which an elastic is inserted. You can simplify the assembly even more with a version without cuts, topstitching, or pockets. All that remains is to choose from over 60 different versions to sew!
