I made my cardigan in jersey knit but you can use many other types of knit, like jersey, sweatshirt fabric, twisted sweatshirt, viscose knit, ribbed knit, jacquard knit…
Fabrics
- 80 centimeters of knit by 1.40 meters width (1.10 meters of knit for sizes 10 years and up)
Supplies
- 6 Buttons with a diameter of about 1cm
- 1.50 meters of blocked cotton ribbon (for finishing the neckline)
- If you use a very stretchy pattern, you can also plan for fusible interfacing on the grainline to place on the assembly seams
