Required materials

  • two different fabrics 1.40 m wide each: XS-L: 55 cm, XL-XXXL: 70 cm
  • Voluminous fleece, for example Vlieseline H630 with a width of 90 cm: XS-L: 1.50 m, XL-XXXL: 2 m
  • Bias tape: XS-L: 3.40 m, XL-XXXL: 3.80 m
  • 2 mm wide elastic band: XS-XXXL: 60 cm
  • sewing thread
  • Sewing machine with a needle suitable for the fabric thickness.
    Tip #1:     For the Emily vest pattern, we use 100% organic cotton poplin with a weight of 120 g/m².
    Tip #2: If you want to cut the bias strips from one of your two fabrics, you will need an additional 60 cm.
    Tip #3: If you are working with pre-quilted fabric, you do not need batting. Skip the quilting steps. The sewing steps are the same.
