Sewing Pattern bustier camisole

CAELI is a bustier camisole with a peplum or gathered flounce. It is fitted thanks to its princess seams at the front and darts at the back. Its button closure is located at the back
for the VERSION A, and at the front for the VERSION B. Its thin straps tie at the back and are laced through two discreet loops: ideal for adjusting the fit to your shape!

The pattern is drafted based on a B cup standard: being fitted, it will require a full bust adjustment for a larger cup 😉

The pattern kit includes a technical sheet full bust adjustment specially designed to best assist you with this modification.

❥ The CAELI camisole comes in two BASIC VERSIONS :

VERSION A : button closure at the back, V crossover, “open” flounce (requires a “backless” bra to be invisible at the V)

VERSION B : asymmetrical button closure at the front, “open” flounce (compatible bra height). This version of CAELI is compatible with the VERSION B of the AQUA skirt (patternless model, available for free download from the shop) to sew a pretty strappy dress in a chic bohemian style.

VARIANT gathered flounce or peplum : both VARIANTS are compatible with both VERSIONS.

LEVEL: Jedi Knight (Intermediate)

Note that fluid and/or heavy fabrics (tencel, crepe, viscose…) are ideal for achieving a soft drape.

If you sew a VARIANT peplum flounce, the look will vary depending on the fabric chosen: “flowing” with fluid and/or heavy fabrics, “corolla-shaped” with stiffer fabrics (cotton, linen, chambray, etc.)

Main fabric: linen, poplin, cotton voile, batiste, chambray, double gauze, tencel, crepe, viscose, modal, silk…

Lining: batiste, cotton voile
