Alixia is a short trench model designed to be both comfortable and dressy.
The front closure is done with a pointed cut that makes it adjustable. You will find a buttoning detail on the epaulettes.
Its collar and 3/4 flounced sleeves add a touch of whimsy.
To make it accessible, Alixia is finished with a facing.

Recommended materials
I made my trench in a waterproof gabardine, you can make yours in any material you want, a wool fabric, a tweed, an ottoman, a wool flannel, a faux leather, a corduroy velvet…
Fabrics
- 2.5m of fabric with a width of 1.4m (2.6m for sizes 42 and up)
Supplies
- 2 buttons about 18mm in diameter for the epaulettes
- 1 button about 28mm in diameter for the center front
- 1.5m of bias tape for finishing the facing
