Camur is an unlined jacket.
It has a slightly trapeze cut that cinches a bit at the bust while flaring towards the bottom, flattering the silhouette while being a bit wider at the waist.
This jacket features a large stand-up collar to wrap up in, but it can also be turned down like a shirt collar or worn without a collar at all.
The sleeves are straight to avoid adding too much volume.
You have the choice between two pockets that give very different styles to the jacket.
The pockets: two square pockets for a classic and versatile jacket, or a “flower” pocket more decorative than usual, but more original.
Buttonholes are not mandatory; you can use sew-on snaps inside and decorative buttons outside, placing them as you wish. The biggest challenge remains managing the thicknesses.
This pattern was designed for a woven fabric with some body such as twill, corduroy, fine wool fabric, boucle wool fabric, or jacquard.
Seam allowances are included and the sewing level is intermediate.
