Aurélie is a versatile pattern; alternately overall skirt or pants, skirt alone or pants alone, this pattern is enhanced with patch pockets and crossed straps at the back. It is designed to be worn with something underneath (the front is not tight against your bust).
With this pattern, you have 4 variations to choose from:
- Overall skirt
- Overall pants
- Skirt alone
- Pants alone
In its corduroy overall skirt version, it goes very well with the Orane shirt.
In its overall pants version, wear Aurélie with a slightly loose t-shirt or a thin turtleneck, with heeled ankle boots.
In skirt version, I see it well in camel suede fabric, with high boots and a blouse with a high collar.
Finally, pants alone, use a pretty double crepe black and wear it with a blazer and sneakers!

Sewing advice
A number of fabrics can work for Aurélie: gabardine, denim, cotton fabric, wool fabric, tweed or suede fabric for a structured look, viscose, chambray, linen or crepe for a more fluid look!
Choose your usual size for the Aurélie overalls. If you are between two sizes, I recommend taking the smaller size. Make a toile to validate the garment's drape, especially at the straps!
I am wearing the overall pants (brick) and skirt (orange corduroy) in size 38 and my measurements are 90 - 70 - 94. I am 1.68 m tall.
Orane is wearing the overalls (cream corduroy) in size 36 at the top, graded to size 38 at the hips. Her measurements are 86 - 65 - 96. She is 1.64 m tall.
The overalls have a natural ease at the waist; this allows you to slip a t-shirt/a thin sweater underneath.
