Each Mimoï pattern comes with a detailed and illustrated booklet that guides you step by step in completing your project! This manual is designed to make sewing accessible and enjoyable, even for beginners, thanks to clear instructions and detailed illustrations.

What you will receive:

• A booklet with the necessary instructions for printing and using the size layers.
• The pattern in pdf format, printable in A4/US Letter or linear A0, including seam allowances. For better clarity, the A4 pattern files are separated. So you only print what you need!
• A richly illustrated sewing guide, for easy and intuitive follow-up of each step.

Recommended fabrics :

Knit with a minimum elasticity of 30%. Cotton jersey, viscose jersey, milano…

For the skirt and dress versions, favor a fabric with good hold.
For the tee-shirt version, you can opt for a more fluid knit, then you will need to fuse the armholes.

The pattern is built on a base of 30% elasticity. You can perfectly use a fabric with higher elasticity. In that case, you may need to adjust the length of the neckline band to prevent it from gaping.

Note: I sewed several versions, in materials with different percentages of elasticity and I did not need to adjust the neckline band.

Required yardage according to sizes:

For a fabric width of 140cm:

Tee-shirt: Size 32 – 46: 95cm /// Size 48 – 50: 115cm

Dress, both versions: Size 32 – 38: 150cm /// Size 40 – 42: 180cm /// Size 44 – 50: 200cm

Skirt, both versions: Size 32 – 50: 115cm

Supplies:

– Special jersey needle

– Special double needle for stretch, optional but very practical for beautiful hems

Tee-shirt and dress versions only:

– Stretch or classic fusible interfacing as there is no need for elasticity at this level: the fusible interfacing is optional, it depends on the chosen fabric. It will give structure to the armholes if your fabric is a bit soft.

– Lastin or "framilastic" 6mm (optional) to support shoulder seams and prevent deformation (On this model, the shoulder being short and structured there is little risk of deformation, it will mainly depend on the hold of your fabric)

Skirt version only:

– Elastic: 3 cm height. Length: see chart below

Always check the length on yourself before sewing, depending on the quality of the elastic it may vary

Measurement chart:

To know your size, measure yourself with a tape measure and refer to the chart below.
The "hip" measurement is taken 20 cm below the waist.

The "waist" measurement of the skirt is given as an indication because it is the length of the elastic that will define the true measurement.
